No, because other than the walls you site, there is no difference, and if the Senate version stands we are about to significantly expand the size of our govenment and their intrusion into our lives. Little by little the RINO's are helping the Dems turn us into a socialistic utopia (utopia for the government, not the people).

There are plenty of other differences. If people break into my house, there is no other legal authority for me to call except the government and, even if I invited them in, that is not socialism. Now, you point about the government going towards socialism is valid, and I want the stopped for illegal aliens AS WELL AS for citizens (probably enough there for another whole thread). The members of my household did not voluntarily give-up "border control" to me in any way similar to the federal-State relationship. There are no taxes pooled for the common good. National sovereignty carries many other issues that the 4 walls of an individual home do not - I could keep going if you like? While useful, for some purposes, it's called an "analogy" precisely because the two situations are NOT the same.
