The bill forbids the federal government to use any information included in an application for amnesty in national-security or criminal investigations. Any federal agent who does use that information would be fined $10,000which is five times more than an illegal alien would have to pay to get the amnesty. national-security be damn, per our senators

They have already won.
I will never forget the few hours before GATT and the WTO was ratified. Conservatives bombarded their representatives with calls, emails, and faxes. The Senate stood up, told us to shut up and passed it anyway. The noise was just as loud.
Advice: Buy a home in a gated community or within your own religious/ethnic neighborhood, home school your kids, or send them to the church/Jewish school of your choice, teach your kids how to use a gun, buy gold, buy diamonds, buy a power generator, and stockpile some extra food.

It's the information sharing wall all over again. These senators and Bush will do anything to get this amnesty even sell out the war on terror. Everyday this gets worse and worse.

I'm afraid you are correct. It is a matter of when now.

My two senators voted correctly on this bill, but God help us if the House caves.

Already fired my email off to John Warner. I'm sure all it did was automatically sign me up to be included on his "Vote for John" propaganda mailing list, but i feel a little better.

I think it's time that we are absolutely clear what this bill represents. It is not an immigration bill. This bill effectively fuses the United States to Mexico. We are now one country. Welcome to the future.

Mine too, I was worried about Dole but she came through.

I think it's time to organize a HUGE protest right in D.C.I think this is why Bush called for this bill to be passed before Memorial Day recess. They didn't want to give us a chance to organize a protest.

I just sent off about ten emails to my local pols & random others. (I used Town Hall's Contact Congress mechanism).
Subject: Do not surrender our borders to invaders & terrorists. * I chose the Homeland Security option as the topic issue, not Immigration.
Nothing about the Senate deliberations of the illegal immigration situation is palatable. It seems they want to play the devils in this battle. Do not compromise with them. Rep. Tancredo has the right idea, work with him & stand your ground in conference. This is immensely important. You must get it right. It would be better to just walk away rather than enact bad legislation.
We're going to remember who stood where on this issue and we are going to vote and support only those who fight to protect America & American sovereignty.
To: Nachum
They have already won. Sadly, I know you are right. The fix is in.

Keep the letters and phone calls going. We have to get rid of these ROMAN SENATORS.

This legislation needs to be stopped and attention turned solely to securing the border and documenting who is here illegally.
The rest can wait.
