My first choice would have been Ronald Reagan but he wasn't on the ballot in 2004.

Yup.

Rosen kind of soft-peddaled the Clinton years - and it was more than a little skirmish is Somalia and troops in Bosnia. Our nation was attacked several times (including TWA800). And .. Clinton did nothing. He's right about one thing - it was easy for Clinton - AND HE STILL SCREWED IT UP (literally). But .. the following picture says it all about the Clintons (seething with rage and jealousy because it didn't happen on their watch):

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I don't know who captured this picture - but it's priceless.

All in all, a fair assesment of where GWB stands now and why.

My hat's off to a man who stands his ground and does his best, which was why we elected him, after all.

The wave of illegal immigration exacerbated by the Simpson-Mazzoli legislation of 1986 reached critical mass.

And I don't blame Bush for that. What I DO blame Bush for on immigration is wanting to repeat the mistakes of Simpson-Mazzoli.
