Costs will NOT rise. Mechanization is replacing the unskilled migrant worker. Many kinds of fruits and vegetables are now being harvested by machines. The only thing that will cause the price of produce to increase, is high fuel costs for the farmer.

And the faculty of our Agricultural Engineering departments will
get things in HYPER-DRIVE. Jumping things down on the farm from Old South
technology to 21st Century technology.
Of course, that will be "racist" as it will displace a lot of the
current manual labor in agriculture.
