S.2611 is accomplished, but its not the law of the land and might never be. There is still the joint session with the House and HR 4437. Frankly, there is no guarantee the House wants to sitdown with the Senate and hash this out. Speaker Hastert has said, if he can't get a majority of the majority to go along with negotiation efforts, this deal just might be, DOA.
