Jalisco is much like the Texas of Mexico. The best food and music originate there. It's the home of the mariachi and Mexican cowboys. I've got some family there still.
Whereabouts? My husband is from Guadalajara. His mom is with us right now, but her house is still there. And I have a brother in law in Leon.
