The race crowds have begun to arrive again after last weekend and my office (across the street from LMS) is at ground zero. All I can say is there are way too many people walking around that should NEVER be allowed to remove their shirts in public like that. The men, too! I like it, though. I like NASCAR. It may look like a Bubbafest to a casual observer, and depending on where you look, it is. It's at minimum, a weekend long spectacle full of bizarre people, all sorts of vendors and great tasting nasty food, like a carnival or a state fair. But, and this is what surprised me the most, if you open yourself to the racin itself, allow it in and let wrap itself around your psych, you'll discover its multiple dimensions and insights. It's like a metaphor for life. Who'd a thunk it?
