Shoot, I am always gone when these things "happen". Thanks for ping & heads up. Will catch up & look for live stream later when I get home (if we have power - we are under tornado watch)

Thanks LL

John McCain knows that stupid "independents" like a friend of mine will vote for him (she voted for Kerry, but told me she'd vote for McCain)....and that we conservatives would have NO other choice.....

I am fine - my truck is another matter.

My husband works for the local GM dealer - and he will take it to the body shop next week and they will fix it up as good as new.

Mojo, give Tony a listen.

I listened intently to Tony for some rationale behind this illegal immigrant nightmare bill, and came away more determined than ever that Bush and the GOP Senators are out of their freakin minds.

I don't recall voting to allow what in essence is a complete social, cultural, and linguistic invasion of America.

I don't recall the Government, which is supposed to be THE PEOPLE, indicating in any way that they want to suddenly (20 years is a short time span) change the demographic to the point that nearly half could be speaking another language not to mention beholden to another country.

And please don't say these people just want a job or to feed their family.

Mexico has a HIGHER Per capita than many European countries. It has a TRILLION dollar economy, ranked in the top ten in the world, I believe.

It has natural resources out the wazoo, and it takes in billions in tourist cash each year, not just from rich Americans but from jet setters around the world.

Of the 51 BILLIONAIRES in Latin America, 26 come from Mexico.

Bottom LIne: Mexico is simply pulling a CUBA. Remember when Fidel Castro sent millions of poor people streaming across the Florida Straights while Jimmuh Carter stood by. Embedded in those millions were the criminally insane, the sick, and the indigent.

IF WE ALLOW THIS defacto amnesty to occur for 12-20 million, another 40-50 million will come streaming across our borders before year 2020.

You might think me to be full of baloney. But are you willing to bet your future, and the future of your kids, grandkids, and the future of the United States of America on me being wrong.

I like America the way it is. The makup, the language, the culture. And I don't want to see it demolished for some pipe dream of millionaire politicians in WashDC who care more about getting votes than they do about common folk.

After all, millionaires can hide behind gated communities or buy property in far away places.

Hard working Americans will be the ones left to deal with the turmoil of Mexico NOrth.

Thank goodness you're alright. Not good to tangle with one of those. :(

I think it is Rush who is naive. Tony had good arguments for W's position. All Rush could say is "I don't believe they will follow through". That's not a good argument.
If there's a flaw in the plan, he should point it out.
