If we actually take control over our borders, and if the people who have been here for years become actual citizens with their heart in the United States (not in Mexico), I wouldn't have any problem with allowing them to earn citizenship.

I don't blame Mexicans for wanting to do whatever it takes to give a better life to their families. I blame the Mexican government for not fixing their economy, and blame us and our government for knowing there's a problem for years and not doing anything about it.

During the time they wait for citizenship I'd have very limited amount of visitation to Mexico allowed. I want them to become truly American.

I do. They broke our laws. They should NOT be rewarded for doing so. I'd support a program that let ONE person on the LEGAL immigration "waiting list" into the country for very TWO illegals deported. That way, we'd more likely get HONEST people.
