How often do we see Senators come out before the final vote on a bill....one that their own party members are in favor of, and just slamming it!

Very rarely ..

My quess is they may have been hoping to fix the bill through amendments before slamming it

I have to give credit to Sessions, Cornyn, Kyl, Chambliss...ever (gulp) Dorgan for trying to amend it...but, this is like a house that has too many repairs needed...

Best to tear it down...and start over...or, just put in a garden...LOL
