I've found I'm also intolerant of holding hot objects. So much so, that I don't even reach out to grab red hot objects, just senselessly assuming that because every other red hot object has burned me, that this one will too. On introspection, my little bigotries are vast in number. Only with the proper education and understanding will I be able to grasp every red hot object before judging its burning qualities.
