This is an outrage. How dare Bush...
Hard working illegals will move on to better jobs and the lowlifes among them will collect Social Security disability payments for the rest of their lives.
On our dime.
Why not just throw the boomer generation away - Americans who earned their social security. Will Bush bankrupted Social Security for the benefit of people who illegally broke into our country?
This is an outrage.
Either way, the farmer's aren't going to have anyone to pick their crops - illegals will either move onto better jobs or take the low disability route.
The USG has the responsibility to enforce its own immigration laws as authoried by Congress and approved byh the President. The blame for lack of enforcement falls squarely on the federal government and not the states or employers or consumers.
Agree that Hayworth has got it right. I wonder why Hayworth voted against the House bill.
Wonder what effect a 100 million more from Mexico and Central America will have on your neigborhood over the next 10 years?
Think they will not come? They are already here.
All true!
I could not agree more this threatens the Republic and if this goes through will destroy this country.
Thanks for your participation and we will continue to fight the good fight.
Yes, I posted "the race card" just because it's so easy and fun watching you people go all prissy and crybaby. Your obsession with this issue would be alarming if you all didn't just discover it one month ago and are all pretending you've been posting on it 24/7 for six years now.
It gets even worse. A new wave of Illegals will arrive, but they will LIE like the rest of them and produce fraudulent documents certifying they've lived in the US for years!
sw
All the laws we will ever need to deal with the Illegal Alien problem are already on the books. Lets see some proof of enforcement before they add more laws to the morass.
It would be a rare illegal who would have an income tax liability, yet the Bill specifies income taxes. It may be that the "back taxes" the illegals must "pay" is in reality an EITC payment of thousands to the illegal.
Would the illegals' Hagel-Martinez tax payment actually be an EITC payout?
Ain't gonna effect the 'bots. If someone is generally in favor of illegal immigration, then they are typically beneficiaries. That means they are either involved in business or government (lobbyists, appointees, etc) that benefits from illegals.
Either way, they more than anyone else can clearly see what's happening, so they've most likely staked out 'safe' areas and have income levels to make sure there's a sturdy gate outside.
It's only the dolts who kept fighting the tide, and didn't realize they should have been storing their nuts for a long hard winter, that will be harmed.
Blah blah blah...
You hysterics have tried that line before--BS is still BS no matter how much of it you shovel.
Yep,I'm a beneficiary of illegal immigration, which is why I've repeatedly supported the House aand NOT the Senate bill; which is why I am a proponent of English-only in my own school district (and I work at a school full of libs); which is why I have said over and over on this site that employers should be targetted so they run, not walk, from any illegal they might have hired; why I have said we should make it such a ferocious penalty for the employers that illegals will have no jobs and thus become HOMELESS and easier to round up and put on once-weekly transport planes at local military bases, and from there out of the country.
See, I've said those things over and over on this site because I'm a Bushbot who benefits from illegals (even though I own no business and work two jobs).
Anyone who dares question the hysterics who add nothing but hot air to this debate is automatically for illegal immigration. That kind of "thinking" shows why this site is still cluttered with immigration hysterics who can't understand how anyone can think for themselves -- agreeing with some things like the House bill and still seeing how this country actually works, and understands that there are their imaginary perfect solutions and then there is the real world and the reality that will emerge from the two meeting in compromise -- and not follow the SavageWeiner crowd.
You left out the part about the race riots!!
You might get your wish of the echo chamber you so desperately desire.
It's always interesting how you Savagebots simply INVENT things to argue against. I never asked for an echo chamber. I like opposing views. I just don't like bots who push the same four sentences over and over, on either side of an issue. Too bad you're just another one of them.
As Plutarch (A.D. 46?A.D. c. 120) put it:
It is a difficult task, O citizens, to make speeches to the belly, which has no ears.
