he can unseat a man he hates even more than you do.

Carter doesn't "hate" Bush, and nor do all but a few freepers.

Yeah, all this gracing of President Bush by the left. I can't believe so many are buying into this amnesty.

Reagan will almost certainly go down as the best President in my life time. He's the only President that I would listen to every speech he made. He was fabulous.

I'm also convinced if Reagan were alive today he'd be siding with the House conservatives and would not be fooled again by another amnesty. Ed Meese sure isn't.

Totally agree. Reagan could be our last statesman. There is nobody around today that even comes close to him in that category. It's sad he went out the way he did but we had him full blast for 8 years and I loved it.

The 1980s was a good time for America.

Don't forget that Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton are siding with Bush on this plan.
Harry Reid and Dick Durbin too.

Not a great endorsement list.

But the President has a chance to redeem himself, by signaling he won't sign the Democrat immigration bill that passed the Senate today, against the votes of most Republicans.

Not that that's going to happen.

Nope in fact the arm twisting in the House has already begun. All signs so far though is they're resisting.

Sad.

added "Democrat's" to my tagline. This Senate bill is now Democrat property, overwhelmingly supported by the party of Ted Kennedy and Barbara Boxer.

Six years is too long for Senators, that's the problem. I don't think this bill is going very far in the House. Just a few months ago they tried to ram through a massive increase in H1-b visas, that got shot down and this probably will too.

I want to know how you'll you solve the problem of illegal aliens, and you gave me some glib ideas but no solutions. Enforcement is going to be a bit*h, and you need to address how you're going to increase enforcement capability while respecting the rights of citizens, the Constitution, and the statutory laws of the land, Federal and State.

Hmmmm...well, speaking from experience, I could adjust two words and you would have to answer this question:

I want to know how you'll you solve the problem of child molestation, and you gave me some glib ideas but no solutions. Enforcement is going to be a bit*h, and you need to address how you're going to increase enforcement capability while respecting the rights of citizens, the Constitution, and the statutory laws of the land, Federal and State.

Well? We're waiting?

Lurker posted rational answers to your questions and you're only response is "enforcement will be a bitch?"

So friggin what? Enforcement of most crimes is a bitch, get over it and find a better reason to allow the invasion to continue.
