Both preach supremacy and declare the "others" as sub-human. Life is cheapened. The sub-humans can be sold as alaves, raped as sex slaves, or killed. It matters not to the Imam.

Charles Bishop/Bishra stole a plane and crashed it into a bank and the authorities tried to tell us he was a conservative teen who went crazy from pimple cream. His suicide note praised Bin Laden for the 9-11 attacks, mentioned meeting some other jihadists although he didn't join, and contained a threat against the Superbowl that was stolen from Black Sunday.
The DC Sniper Duo are known to have killed at least one man in the South in preparation for the attacks. How many other regional murders are the world of serial killers who have left the area?
There was a note in this case that the police seemed hesitant to release at first (again with the clear claim of muslim ties).
We've seen a number of very STRANGE cases (especially with bombs) that have gone "unsolved" (the Oklahoma kid at the college game, the pizza delivery guy who robbed a band with a bomb around his neck and died when it wasn't removed before it went off...). Who knows anymore.
It is CLEAR that the authorities don't want to release such details. Wouldn't want to cause a panic. Wouldn't want to stir up vigilantism (which I never support). But the public has a right to know if holy war is being waged within the US and citizens are being killed by insurgents in the continental US.

I believe that was two women (one dead, one survived) at a convenience/liquor store in rural Montgomery, Alabama.
I predicted when it was going on that it would be Islamic based, involving a guy with a military background.

I think we ought to know, as you say, but there are precedents for not telling the public. We had successful bombings from Viet Nam on that were not publicly reported.
The government often keeps information from the public.
People posting have a good point. Hate crime was something new when Bush was coming into office. His first presidential campaign supported hate crime, no matter how much it sounded like mind reading and the novel 1984.
Obviously the Moslem fanatics hate Israel in particular and the West in general. But the Bush administration has done PR for Islam while denouncing patriotic Minutemen as "vigilantes."
I found the Malvo Case Defendant's Trial Exhibits using the Wayback Machine. This site USED to show all the drawings and letters Malvo drew/wrote in his cell. I noticed that almost ALL the material that has reference to islam, Osama, allah etc has been removed. Nice going Fairfax County...removing the exhibits to make the verdict fit, are they? Disgusting.
