All of the current Democratic "Frontrunners" are a reaction to Bush and he won't be running. Warner could use this to position himself as a post-Bush centrist.

Exactly. I don't know much about Warner, but he could run as a Northern Southerner... or a Southern Northerner... whatever it takes.
