Set to launch on 6-6-06, best-selling author Ann Coulter throws open the doors of the "Church of Liberalism" in her latest and most controversial book to date.
"If a Martian landed in America and set out to determine the nation's official state religion, he would have to conclude it is liberalism, while Christianity and Judaism are prohibited by law," Coulter writes in "Godless: The Church of Liberalism."
The WND columnist argues that while many Americans are outraged by liberal hostility to traditional religion, to focus solely on the Left's attacks on Judeo-Christian tradition is to miss a larger point: Liberalism is a religiona godless one.
"Liberals love to boast that they are not 'religious,' which is what one would expect to hear from the state-sanctioned religion," she writes.
"Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as 'religion.'"
Chapter headings in Coulter's "Godless" include "On the Seventh Day, God Rested and Liberals Schemed" and "Liberals' Doctrine of Infallibility: Sobbing Hysterical Women" and "The Holiest Sacrament: Abortion."
Coulter is the author of four New York Times bestsellers: "How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must)," "Treason," "Slander," and "High Crimes and Misdemeanors."
In her new book, available now through the WND Book Service at a discount of 32 percent, Coulter takes on what she calls the liberal creation myth: Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.
For liberals, evolution is the touchstone that separates the enlightened from the benighted. But Coulter neatly reverses the pretense that liberals are rationalists guided by the ideals of free inquiry and the scientific method. She exposes the essential truth about Darwinian evolution that liberals refuse to confront: It is bogus science.
Writing with a keen appreciation for genuine science, Coulter reveals that the so-called "gaps" in the theory of evolution are all there is Darwinism is nothing but a gap. After 150 years of dedicated searching into the fossil record, evolution's proponents have failed utterly to substantiate its claims. And a long line of supposed evidence, from the infamous Piltdown Man to the "evolving" peppered moths of England, has been exposed as hoaxes. Still, liberals treat those who question evolution as religious heretics and prohibit students from hearing about real science when it contradicts Darwinism. And these are the people who say they want to keep faith out of the classroom?
Liberals' absolute devotion to Darwinism, Coulter shows, has nothing to do with evolution's scientific validity and everything to do with its refusal to admit the possibility of God as a guiding force. They will brook no challenges to the official religion.

Okay, I'll entertain, explain to me, specifically with elaboration, the process that takes places within a species, that produces a new, and entirely different species more complex than it's own.
Yes, I claimed that here (blank), and I claimed that here (blank), and I stated that here in the reason (blank). Quit shooting blanks!
So, you're spamming FR with WND blurbs for Coulter's book. Weird.
No, I asked you to explain it to me. I didn't ask you to suggest "science reading" or an author. I want you to explain it to me, because surely having read "science reading" and being able to turn out words like "natural selection," you most certainly can explain how one species evolves into a higher and different species.
Explain to me, in detail, how gravity operates.
Yes, I posted a thread with a summary of a chapter in her book and a thread with an offer with respect to her book, but in the mind of the slef-dubbed "professor" this is considered "spamming." How does posting at FR on immigration five times, or on another subject three times, warrant claims of spamming unless we are all spamming under the general heading of conservative activism. Take your ill-reasoned desire for censorship to D.U.
Here's 'splain:
An organism has a mutation.
That mutation happens to produce a beneficial characteristic when passed to offspring.
That characteristic may make the organism more complicated.
And please don't pretend that "Natural Selection" is big words. That is the proper term for the mechanism of "evolution." It's easy to understand when you have an open mind.
I'll explain to you that it is a physical force, one of four interactions, affecting bodies with mass. It works when an apple falls to the ground, but it doesn't explain why the "professor" decided to chime in while failing to address my question, which called for an explanation of evolutionary process, which he so firmly BELEIEVES in..
Sure looks like spamming to me.
You don't sell medications on the internet as well, do you?
Saying what it is doesn't say how it operates. Explain to me, in detail, how gravity operates.

Evolution is a process by which species change over time by means of heritable variation and natural selection.
Answered in the same way you answered.
An organism has a mutation, which I thought usually destroy genetic material, and that is how you explain how one species can evolve into a new and entirely different species while the original species continues as well. Well, I'm aware of natural selection and I don't need to recite the moth example from standard textbooks, which detail no change other than an industrial revolution and "slection" of black moths instead of white moths. I didn't say that "natural selection" is a big word or pretend it was....I only pretend that you trot it out in hopes that you don't have to labor in thought. A sort of sluthful approach, if you will.
Me too, but... there is a place in the movement for her. She's the perfect person to take on leftist bullies like Carville.
No, there is a difference in explainaing a force of interaction that I can demonstrably prove and observe by attempting to jump up and quickly being pulled right back to the ground...given the whole question was merely tangent to side-step having to explain your faith, which you deny is faith at all, behind an unobservable claim that one species evolves into another species given you can't explain it other than throwing out a word like natural selection...so single cell, multi-cellular, and eventually we arrive at humankind. Got it! You've routed me!
Well, speaking things into existence in a matter of six days and a seventh for rest...does seem to fly in the face of the theory of evolution, which the adherents say takes millions of years.
You *do* understand (I hope) that Ms Coulter is first and foremost an entertainer? I give her as much credit on modern evolutionary biology as I would ...say... Tom Hanks.
No, I don't seel medications over the Internet, I simply offer free therapy and conseling to poor souls like your own desperately in need of humility, attention, and even critical thinking.
And I can demonstrate evolution by showing the succession of fossils leading from common ancestors to modern animals, and by showing the tree-like nature of the genetic sequences of all known higher organisms. Admittedly, that's takes a little more sophistication than you jumping up and down - though we all gotta do what we're good at - but it's completely straightforward.
Got it! You've routed me!
It's another thing I'm good at.
I think that most have no problem. I don't. See tagline.
