Thanks for the thread.
I've been busy, transplanting seedlings, planting more seeds, and ordering my Avocado and fruit trees after spending THOUSANDS to take down some trees that were a big nuisance - lovely but blocking my view of my lake and giving my yard way too much shade.
I miss everybody. But I have to admit, I sure have gotten a tremendous amount of gardening and housework done since Tony took the job! LOL!
I think I'm finally over my "Tony dt's". Sniffle. Maybe not.
I sure miss the guy and being able to call him, and "talk" to him here at FR.

Wonderful to hear from you schoolmate. Worried that one of those Florida alligators might have tried to gobble you up for lunch. Yes, the hole left by Tony's departure is enormous and not easily healed. But, like you, I am finding I am getting an incredible amount of stuff done! Helps ease the pain.
Plus we get to gather around again when Tony holds his gaggles, thanks to dinasour. For the first time, I feel there is someone in the press office capable of dealing adequately with the main stream media. Unfortunately, some of the things Tony has to defend [like a "comprehensive" immigration policy] are indefensible. The security of the border must be dealt with first and successfully. A "comprehensive" approach offers the carrot before confirming the effectiveness of the stick.
The comprehensive approach means two bad bills will be passed rather than one good one. The politicians are caving to the business interests and ignoring the desire of a majority of Americans. I hope they pay a price at the ballot box for that trangression.
