You are absolutely right.
Employers want cheap labor for themselves and the laws enforced against the competition.
I can not see the U.S. picking up 11,000,000 illegal aliens and shipping them back, and in addition, another 25,000,000 wives and kids. I think we are stuck with them. the only answer is to stem the tide of the new crop.
To do that, we need to kill the incentive for the migrants to come here.

They have no right to break our laws and be rewarded with citizenship for doing so, no right whatsoever. The congress critters considering this and the president are not representing the citizens of this country at all.

No matter the twists and turns of the various proposals we come to the same roadblock. We need to enforce the laws, either the old ones or the new ones. The gov't has signalled a complete unwillingness to enforance ANY of our border or employer sanction laws. They will not enforce the new laws. However, you can be sure they will rush through the amnesties in quick order.
