How obvious. I wonder why I didn't see it before. It's so much better to have someone, that would cut your throat to advance a cause, in a position of power than it is to have some boob who, while not always looking out for your best interests, would only kick you in the shins.

You make two assumptions that both seem unlikely.

[1] That Pelosi would "cut my throat". I doubt she would have the power. Hastert sure doesn't seem to have much.

[2] That the GOP or is it Hastert you mean, are just harmless "boobs". It doesn't seem like something to put on a campaign sign, and it doesn't seem like much of a recommendation for me to support them either.
