"This is getting serious"

This is my feeling. Remember the incidents of violence during the 2004 election? I believe it was the son of a Democratic Congressman, or some close relation who was charged with slashing tires of Republican campaign workers---I never heard whether he was convicted. Here in Pennsylvania, an unarmed person walked into a Bush victory center and threatened to shoot the people working there. He was arrested without incident and I don't know the follow up. I believe it was in Tennessee where the window of a Bush victory center was shot out with a firearm---at a time when no workers were inside.

Then there were the Coptic Christian Egyptians whose throats were cut for speaking out against Islam, I think it was in New Jersey. There is also a Chinese man beaten severely, including head wounds causing bleeding, for his support of the Falon Gong. This occurred in the United States and appeared to possibly be done by agents of the Chinese government.

Leftists have posted the name and picture of at least one active and well-known freeper on web sites, for their information, along with an implied estimate of his fighting ability.

A Muslim man in the United States who spoke out against the terrorists received a death threat letter.

There were incidents of the homes of close relatives of soldiers being burglarized when they went to the soldier's funeral.

I believe conservatives, especially those who speak out or are active, need to start thinking more about combining their eyes and years in the community to look out for each other and keep a watch for suspicious activity. Fortunately, many are already armed which is good.

I am looking for a very large spike in violence in 2008---not expecting too much in November this year, but obviously that is just a guess.
