Murtha is the lead leftist mouthpiece in the Democrat attempt to discredit our efforts in Iraq - he needs to be nailed - and hard!!

That story has some basis in reality. That is to say, some Iraqis were killed apparently, and the Marines, etc., are investigating.
This guy just made stuff up out of the blue.
In that regard he is not like Joe Bangert, who was one of the Kerry's "band of brothers" who helped to get the vet vote out for Kerry. Or was supposed to.

While I'm not sure of the time line on this, I understand this video tape (and story itself) to be very recent. Murtha has been an a$$ for a long time. I doubt this is the basis for his garbage.
