And in a broader sense, because I don't want Free Republic to look foolish. There are plenty, plenty, plenty of good reasons to tar MacBeth as an idiot, a liar, a bastard, and a criminal. There is no need to harp on the irrelevant fact that his name was changed when he was two years old, something that obviously he had no control over and probably no awareness of.

You don't know if it's relevant or irrelevant - we are trying to find out all about this guy who has been on a prominent, vicious smear campaign against our troops and our country. Sam Hill is doing a great job finding info. IF (I don't claim to know yet) it should turn out that Jesse "Al-Zaid" MacBeth has a Saudi and/or Muslim and/or Arab background that may have provided some of the motivation and context for his depraved smear campaign, that would certainly be relevant to a complete picture of his motivations and behavior. Just because his name was changed or his parents (maybe) split when he was very young does not (necessarily) mean he had no significant contact with the world of Islamo-fascism. It would be most relevant to learn whether he comes out of the same cesspool that bred the 9/11 terrorists, etc.
