We must remember that ANY attack on or in Israel will have a perverse effect on our OWN troops in the region.
And generally, any attacked LAUNCHED by Iran will have to go over the same troops.
You support your allies and friends, especially in that region.

Oh please, half the world would avenge a nuclear attack on Israel, and Israel would of course retaliate itself with multiple craters. Get a grip on yourself, you just want to keep telling everyone how hopeless it all is. Israel is a major nuclear power, it has already counter-threatened to eliminate Iran. And let me guess, you don't think Israel will do it either?
I think you my friend are naive and downright stupid. You have no idea the anger that will boil over in the US if nuclear detonations went off here. Imagine 9/11 time about 10,000. people will want blood even if it means ww3. Me included. I for one know the USAF plans would be to advise the prez to launch a full scale attack on Iran.

In the event of a nuclear attack on Israel by Iran, it will be too fricking late to come to Israel's aid. Whatever the US and Israel are planning on doing, they'd better do soon.

Specifically why do you think that? What in the response to 9-11 makes you think the USA would go nuclear on some nation's arse? There would be a response, but no nukes.

I don't think it's hopeless. I just think people expecting nuclear fireworks to go off in defense of Israel is living in 1966, not 2006.
