Perhaps the first step would be to kindly ask them to take their protest to the street, a repectful distance from the Church. If they don't, then call the police.
Gays had Christians arrested in Philadelphia for being too near one of their events! How come it's okay to gays to barge right into a Catholic Church with their protests? Geez! Talk about getting too close.
Then when they refuse to leave?

how about when the stand in front o f other parishoners to block THEM from recieving communion?
Should the candle salesman/lady advise the sash wearer they may not wear the sash in the church?
