What I think homosexuals want is the legal and financial perks that married couples get. In other words they want the same liberties as everyone else has. *************
And yet this article addresses their desire to be accepted by the Catholic Church, an issue that has nothing to do with legal or financial "perks". What homosexuals want or don't want the state or federal governments to provide has no relevance to the Catholic Church or its teachings.

(Zen is not easy. It takes effort to attain nothingness. And then what do you have? Bupkis.)

True, and in this case they are wanting something from the Catholic Church - just as Mormon homosexuals in my state want something from the Mormon Church. But I think it comes down to them wanting the same liberties as everyone else has.
