Nope,I'm sorry...I can't believe this. We've been assured by that paragon of virtue,Ted Kennedy, that "undocumented workers" are honest, hard working and always play by the rules.
Well,at least all the rules except the Federal Immigration "rules".

re: Marietta, Ga., church where one of them, Ruy Silva, was the pastor)))
I've been harping on this church/coyote connection for quite some time now, and taken a fair bit of abuse, too, I might add.
If there's a "Iglesia Bautista Evangelista" in your town, keep on eye on who's running things. Ask other ministers if there's any scuttle about funneling the illegals in and ruling over them once they arrive.

ATLANTA -- A clergyman and five others are accused of taking more than $200,000 from illegal immigrants in exchange for helping them gain amnesty by lying about when they entered the United States. Really good, foolproof, can't be abused program, huh?
What a stinkin' load.
Jeezz, I can't believe this entire nation is one vote away from total invasion.

Like this will be a rare occurrence if the Senate bill becomes law.

Yeah, it certainly is easy to see how those that call those concerned "chicken little's" have a real basis for argument. /s
And just praytell, how many other American citizens are making money off of helping illegals enter the country?
So what! The FBI caught five people. Might as well stand under Niagara Falls with a five-gallon pail to ebb the flow of water.

If they break the law coming here in the first place, I had no confidence they wouldn't lie about how long they'd been here... just long enough for amnesty, but not so long they have to pay much in the so-called fine McCain is fond of mentioning.
To: SmithL
Of course no one else would ever think of doing this.

Some more info...
SIX PERSONS INDICTED IN MULTI-STATE AMNESTY FRAUD CONSPIRACYAccording to United States Attorney Nahmias, the charges and other information presented in court: EMMA GERALD, the pastor of a local church, held herself out as a consultant to aliens seeking amnesty in the United States. GERALD did business under the name EJ Consulting Services. Under a program known as the Catholic Social Services/Lulac/Newman Amnesty Program (the CSS Amnesty Program), certain aliens who were illegally in the United States were eligible to apply for temporary residence in this country. In order to be eligible, an alien had to meet certain requirements, including having been present in the United States unlawfully from prior to January 1982; and having previously applied for temporary residence but having been turned down because the alien left and re-entered the United States without the permission of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).An article from December 9, 2005...Fear prods immigrants into expensive leap of hope
Word hurtled around the Brazilian community with lightning speed.
A woman from Georgia -- ''Pastor Emma," she called herself -- promised to show immigrants how they could remain in the United States legally under a 1986 amnesty law. So several hundred undocumented Brazilians flocked to the Radisson Hotel Brockton to hear her pitch.
