This case is totally convoluted. Isn't Libby indicted for not remembering he talked to some reporter, but Libby's diary indicated he talked to the reporter? Now you have witnesses on the subject of where Libby learned about Plame. OK, so maybe he heard it from some CIA people and from some reporters. So what? The trial is an absurdity at this point.
I think Libby's attorney Ted Wells will eat this mess for lunch. This kind of indictment is only good for threatening a guy into pleading. When they trot out all this confusion for the jury, Wells will cut through it like the Gordian knot.

Fitzgerald's case is going down the toilet because he has to show that the charges that he brought was central to her being at the minimum "classified" or it's not central to the case and is just a he said, she said. Fitzy has to prove that these 2 CIA employees never had contact with the media either because that's the way Libby's lawyers will direct this and with all the leaks in the CIA I would almost guarantee these employees had spoken to the MSM at some point.
