I didn't always agree with Bentsen, but he was a much better human being than the current crop of socialists.

Bentsen was a good man. Politically misguided to be sure but I'd rather have him in office than someone like Reid, Kennedy, or Kerry.

Contrast the respect we FReepers show for this good man--with whom we often disagreed politically--with the hatred and spewed vitriol from the DUmmies when any Republican dies.
