So we have Democrats in America conspiring with lefty Brits in Dubai to fire up anti-American sentiment amongst the English-reading Emiratis, Saudis, Bahrainis, Qataris, Omanis, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, Malaysians, Indians, et al. Most of the educated people in the Gulf do read English better than they speak it.

If it happened as the anti-American propagandist described, which is not yet proven, it only goes to show that this is a war. It's not to excuse the act to state unequivocally that atrocities occur in every war. If it happened in this case it would have been be pertinent to point out that it was an anomaly. But not to this virulently anti-American writer. Couldn't she get as exorcised at the wanton killing of many more Iraqis by fellow Iraqis and terrorists (insurgents)? Oh no, she facilely blames that on the Americans as well.

IMO, she is bad news and appears to be very biased and is no friend of the United States. I didn't read anything that validated or proved what she has written is true. She is not going to accept anything positive about the Marines or the United States, and I am not going to accept anything she writes as being factual! She isn't worth spitting on if she was on fire.
And we have to decide if we're going to reward their anti-American efforts because we're mad about a pet issue or two, or if we're going to send a powerful message by defeating a 16-term Congressman.
Good point re Murtha hyping through use of term "cold blood." Is this guy demented?
