Going back several years; I was returning to Connecticut (where I lived) one winter evening and had my new Jeep Limited conk out at the northern end of the Garden State Parkway in NJ. I managed to limp in to the large rest stop near the NJ/NY state line and called my wife to pick me up. It took her about an hour to arrive. That rest stop has to be a focal point for this type of activity as I had several guys giving me the once over ... apparently, because I seemed to be loitering, they assumed I was there for a night out with the boys.
