The deal is that she doesn't flaunt it, and dad supports her. She gets to be a lesbian and dad gets to make nice with us conservatives. How much political traction would Cheney have if his daughter became a vocal gay activist and he responded with "I love my daughter and support her in her choice to live this way?"
