if any of these politicos were serious about the issue, they'd go after the producers of all the unnecessary packaging - that would cut the waste problem in half all by itself

but they count on having enough waste to fill the removal contractors 'needs'.

Like most things that politicians have a hand on - the reality is the opposite of the stated

The Brits must have a similar crew managing recycling operations as we do here in the USA  :-)
