When you consider how much is saved in the long run in NOT supporting the illegals and their whelp....eventually it would pay for itself. And BTW, you build that wall well enough, and you really won't need to hire all that many more border guards.

There is spending the feds are SUPPOSED to do, and spending they aren't. Spending on border security would come under the heading of SUPPOSED to.
