law requires only 'accused' or 'alleged' until a verdict is in. Otherwise, a lawsuit on the paper/media and/or a mistrial for having been 'convicted' in the media
OK. I just hate hearing the word alleged thrown around.
As a side note, I realized while reading the article, that initially, I had thought it was going to be a white guy. Don't know why. Then, I saw the picture.
