Thanks. This isn't as bad as it looks either. Conservatives, while not in charge, are going to be a voice in the governance of the city.

We would have been shut out in a Landrieu/Morial administration.

The federal aid will absolutely get in the hands of the people who need it. That also would not have happened under a Landrieu/Morial controlled city.

I think that you are right...heck I'd bet that the Landrieu's even cut the campaign fund heavily. Like junkies, they can't help themselves.

Don't you think that Nagin also knows that he will be heavily scrutinized over the next few years...so he is less likely, if he were inclined to any kind of corruption (which I am not saying he would)...he would NOT get away with it like the Landrieu tag team from Washington to NO, would?
