Drudge has pulled this story, and apparently no one else has picked it up. Lefties are crying B.S.
The thing is, there have been any number of similar events, going back to the selection of Dean, that this story sounds completely reasonable.
Drudge appears to have essentially retracted, although not explicitly so.
