So true. Defending Louisiana is almost impossible. Louisiana folks are expected and almost demanded to be in perptutual apologize mode. A quite innocent example is this response to the article I posted on comment 390 and the responses and my response that entail comments 392,394 396 and 397.

I am not picking on those folks at all but goodness it was nothing and is pretty typical. It would be nice to see a katrina evacuee saves a life story or a Katrina evacuee becomes an asset to the community story. But no its all how bad NOLA folks are and they are not appreciative.
