I was impressed with Nagin's speech, especially when he gave glory to God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was also pleased when he sincerely gave President Bush credit for keeping his promises to New Orleans. I hope he turns out to be a good mayor after all.

He was off to a good start before Katrina, which overwhelmed him.

Here's hoping...

I wouldn't put a lot of credence in this if I were you... the Bible says even the demons believe and tremble at the name of Jesus. I recall Nagin's vulgar, rant-filled cursing last year when he was blaming everyone & everybody for failing to evacuate the refugees from NO, when it was his own stupidity and incompetence for failing to activate his own city's buses & school buses. Nagin is a complete buffoon, and personally I could care less whether he is mayor of NO or not....except for the fact that billions of our tax dollars are being flushed down that cess pool.

I would like to cut off our aid altogether and let NO build itself back up, without tax dollars being wasted there.
