This is not only a cultural, political and historical battle but it is also a spiritual battle. These children are hated and reviled for their love of Jesus and the faith they have in Him. So even while we try all secular means to stop this horror I urge us never to give up the battle on the spiritual front.
Our Lady Help of Christians please pray for the children who are enslaved and abused for their faith. With you we pray that your son, our Lord Jesus Christ may protect and free them and bring their captors to justice. Blessed Virgin we remember that at the Battle of Lepanato your appearance struck terror in the hearts of the Muslim enemy and forced them to flee. May the supplications of the faithful once again move your Son to show the enemy that no evil will triumph against them.

Nonsense. This is just garden variety exploitation, and the Christian children are more popular targets, since Christians (whose faith bears little resemblance to yours) are a minority in these countries, and thus the kidnapper/trade slavers encounter much less social, political, and legal backlash if they take Christian children. They enslave plenty of Muslim and other children, too. Anything for a buck. They couldn't care less what these kids believe or don't believe. Heck, they teach their own kids to blow themselves up.
Islam is the only major religion to acknowledge the existence of Jesus while at the same time denying His divinity, His crucifixion, and His resurrection.
Mohammed leads the flock astray. Mohammed was "the last prophet" so there is no reformation possible from within Islam and mulsims are prohibited under penalty of death from converting away from the faith of Islam.
The only true reformation of Islam can come when the followers reject the false prophet Mohammed and return to the original biblical text as Jews or Christians (depending on a newfound acceptance of Jesus). It won't be easy as the jihadists see any attempts at ministering to muslims to be a war on Islam.
Islam is intolerant of other faiths (placing Jews and Chrisitans beneath them in rights and legal status, and those of other faiths like Hinduism and Buddhism at the bottom). They consider us to be sub-human (whether or not they believe their own rhetoric about Jews being the offspring of pigs and monkeys).
As sub-humans, they see little reason to treat a kufir (non-muslim) as anything other than a cow. Use it as you would any other beast. Call it property or kill it.
