President Bush is at his best when he is clear and determined, like right after 9/11.

I remember an interview that O'Reilly did with him right before the 2004 election. O'Reilly said something about the media and Bush laughed nervously and said something like, I'm not going to pick a fight with the media.

He seemed afraid. The media started after him big time with the 9/11 hearings and it's been non-stop since then. He has to let them know there will be consequences for their attacks. They sense weakness.
