His unit all seems to be pretty happy, I have talked with dozens of them.
mystery-ak's husband and son are in the Army National Guard.
My hubby just re-enlisted for another 4 years in the NG....he has already served 36yrs(he is full time Guard)....during these years he has served all over the world and has served 15mos in Iraq and 30 days in NO...I'm sure he'll be heading to the border since he is in an Aviation unit.......Now my son is also in the Guard...he was in school (ISU) when 911 occured....his unit was activated but told to stand down while waiting for deployment....this upset him so much, because his dad was over there that he dropped out of school and became an MP under OpNoble Eagle....seeing that his unit was never going to be deployed(at least in his eyes) he transferred to an MP Bn knowing that they were to be deployed late this summer......I am so proud of him, I just can't put into words..........thanks to him and thousands like him we are going to win this WOT.....he has not lost confidence, quite the contrary....he is stepping up where others aren't.......he is my son, my baby ....my hero!
