Whining wives who think it's all about them we don't need in the military. We're supposed to be the support so our troops can do their job without having to worry about what's happening at home. I've spent over half my life keeping the home fires burning as a military wife and mother so I know what I'm talking about, obviously you don't.

Wow!!!!! Put the spike laden baseball bat down for one second, please!

Nowhere on this thread did I ever say I did not support my husband or the war on terror. I am a vicious supporter of my husband, his mission, and the war on terror. Where in the world did you get that?

Just because I don't think Bush is doing a very good job doesn't mean I am a bad military wife who stands by Cindy Sheehan (wow!!! what a stretch THAT comment was!!)

BTW, my husband is in the reserves, not active. He's been in for 21 years. He has had two deployments. He is still in and I still support him as I always have.

When reservists get activated to duty overseas it’s a very different experience for the reservist family. We reservists have little or no support structure in place at every level. We endure continued and relentless attacks from active duty military wives who continue to turn their noses up at us and have nothing but venomous things to say about us and our citizen soldiers (i.e. the “b*stard stepchildren of the Army”). We lose our spouse’s entire civilian income from the deployment. Some have no job to go back to, and several soldiers in my husband’s unit have lost their entire business and livelihood.

There is an extra layer of difficulty reservist families have to go through that most active families have never experienced and have no concept of (unless they were ever deployed as a reservist) which I failed to point out earlier.

That said, you may now pick your baseball bat back up. I expect you to.
