Irey is gathering up steam, IMO. She's peaking at the right time. Wait until the summer the donations will really be pouring in. It'll be hard for Murtha to attack her on anything. Murtha's toast, bottom line. He's old, miserable, and decrepit. Time to put him out to pasture.

Murtha's toast, bottom line.

Well, let's not get carried away. He's still got the numbers in his district (though not by much), a lot of money, and a whole lotta power.

Having said that, I like Diana Irey's chances. Especially if she can raise her profile and enough money to grab the attention of the power brokers in D.C. I was disappointed to see that she had almost no donations from political action committees last quarter. Let's hope that now changes in a BIG way!
