You would think school bus drivers would have some sort of training what to do in a situation like this- after all I think it was in the 70s that a school bus was taken over and children were held hostage in Camarillo, California. It's not like the possibility doesn't exist. You would think with the war on terror someone would have thought something like this is even more likely to happen.

If I seem especially worried by this, it is because my daughter rides a school bus every day. If this would have happened on her bus they would not have to fire the driver; there would be nothing left to fire when I finished!!

I hope the parents are smart enough to raise the roof about this one.

Understand how you feel. America today is not the America of yesterday. We are vulnerable in so many ways I wouldn't begin to count them. The only thing I can say is that President Bush must have put the fear of God in the muzzie terrorists with a threat of retaliation so devastating they would prevent another domestic attack rather than commit one. What other possible reason could there be for the absence of any follow-up attacks on America? None that I can think of.

I hope the threat is real and I hope the threat is long-lasting.

As far as I can tell, the TV news shows are not talking about this to any extent. The first step in warning people is to notify them, second step is to inform them what they can do to protect THEMSELVES, the third step is to round up any visitors of the Muslim faith NOT citizens, and send them back to their country of origin. Tough luck fellas and little ladies, we are at war, go home and get in line to come back.
