Yes, on Business Visas and Americans were allowed over there on business visas also.
My first trip was to the University of Geophysics in Brno, Czechoslovakia in the late sixties.

Understood regarding Americans going overseas in a highly selective process I suspect, maybe a few thousand a year that were greatly monitored, correct? What about the reciprocal?
