you know what I find interesting is that most people who are not completely depressed find themselves wanting to live when faced with death. This is in Aesop - "The old man and Death" ( from memory ):
An old man was carrying a load of firewood down the road and became exceedingly weary. "Oh, I just can't go on like this anymore," he said to himself, "I wish Death would come and take me away!"
With that, Death appeared to him and said, "You called on me?"
"Why, yes," said the old man, "Perhaps you can help me carry this firewood?"
The moral: It is one thing to call on Death, another to see him coming.

The quality of mercy is not strained. It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven.

The man is a ghoul who has been fixated with death since medical school days and he used his profession as a means to satisfy his addiction to death.
I would equate this as a pedofile grade school teacher who has unlimited access to children.......

They are going to pardon him. He gets out next year in 2007. I think they will make it 2006.

People who are terminally ill should be able to end their lives with dignity. I believe Dr. Kevorkian helped people do this.

end their lives with dignity. I believe Dr. Kevorkian helped people do this. I would say that giving someone a lethal injection and then making a videotape of the victim's dying moments is not dignified.

That is a decision for God, not for man. Kevorkian is anything BUT a hero.
