As I recall it was a term of six (6) years then one renewal ...nothing about putting them on Social Security or a 'path to citizenship'. And we hear nothing about employer enforcement?

I have a solution Mr. President, about how to come up with the 35000 beds needed for those illegals that get rounded up.......ask the one and only brilliant Sheriff from Az. or NM. that has the tent city set up for criminals of every ilk. I saw him on TV last week and when asked how he could handle the large amount that's out there coming across the border, his response was."not to worry", he'd put tents up from where he was, to the border if necessary. He also announce he was going to deputize a group to help round the illegals up.

Where there's a will, there's a way. This should not be a complicated thing to do, but the Pres. and the spineless who are in Congress lack the will, for reasons we can only guess.
