"I will give Ann Arbor this: they have better football teams"

They may have a better football team, but trust me, they weren't homegrown, and raised in Ann Arbor.

People who oppose recruitment by the United States Marines should be rounded up and sent to China, or somewhere else where they might be appreciated.

At a minimum they've gotta' be forced out of America. We don't need their kind.

I agree, Tammy. When my son reached that age, I let him decide the classes he wanted to take, the Field Trips he wanted to go on, etc.

But, of course, I was there to de-program him at the end of the day...and more likely than not on the Field Trips too, LOL! ;)

I feel sorry for the kids of those liberal pukes. The kids would be lucky to distance themselves from their parents' liberal ways and become Marines. As a victim of the CA public school system, I can say that I would have loved to have had Marines teaching gym class.

My junior high school gyms classes (around 1970) had quite a lot of "Marine style" calistenics with a bit of yelling. I can just imagine complaining to our Vice-Principal.

The Major's (USMCR) reponse would have been a thing of beauty.

My JHS had less liberal Bravo Sierra than average.

Off topic, but did anyone have to log in again to post? I did, and am wondering if the site had a hiccup or something.

They were walking around kind of screaming at them," she said. "It was totally Marine-style."

Did they make the boys cry?

We don't have "Boys" anymore in Madison Proper. They've been outlawed. They're "Metrosexuals" now. ;)

Fortunately, I raised my three outside of the Madison City Limits, LOL!

Add this to the list of things I am fed up with hearing about, whaaaaaaaaa, they're trying to recruit my kid, whaaaaaa, get over yourselves morons, I'd rather have my child be recruited into serving his/her country than to be recruited into a gang or a drug club or a group of those wackos at Columbine.......shakinghead, rolling eyes.........

When I was in seventh grade, I'd have loved to had a Marine instead of my regular everyday PE 'teacher'.

At least A Marine would have had some self control.

A minor error or anything to displease 'Coach' got you thirty seconds of right in your face yelling and a shove. A major error would get two minutes of yelling and a swat with a wooden paddle. And he literally beat the crap out of me twice; I mean smashed against walls and lockers, punches and kicks. And I wasn't the only one treated that way.

If you can support Marines conducting classes, then don't object when GLAD comes to your kid's class as well.

Do you get it? Government schools are always upholding the worldview of some while trashing that of others. They never were, are not now, and never will be politically, culturally, or religiously neutral in content or consequences.

The only rational solution is to begin the process of privatizing universal K-12 education.

She doesnt mind queers recruiting in her school just marines.

heavens forbid soem of these kids learned some discipline.

By the way its an easy way for kids to find if they could take Marine Corps training. Most wont like it but those who do might make real men of themselves.

I always **sort of** knew why it's called Mad City, but you've really got yourself a bumper crop of moonbats up there, young lady.

No pie for these folk, right?

;^)

If you have a free public high school, thank the Marine Corps. They gave blood so you can live in freedom.

This happens in the public schools out west as well. Former drug addicts come in and lecture on the evils of drug addiction.

You'd think this guy was a leper, or a drug dealer instead of an honorable man.

And in Madison, Wisconsin...he is.
