What's the down side to Specter losing?

Don't pull any teeth you don't have to, Badray. Never know when you might need em. Look, it's really simple. Once the primary was over in PA, you had two choices. A liberal DEM who would NEVER vote with a GOP, and a liberal GOPer who sometimes does. Explain to me the upside of having the DEM instead of Specter. No one's given me that explanation yet. You said no one is suggesting that, but in a race between Specter and a DEM, where you're saying DON'T vote for Specter, who do you suppose is going to win? The Great Pumpkin?
