What an excellent article. This is the most comprehensive explanation of the consequences of net neutrality regulation. There is no place for this type of regulation.

If only it was only "liberal groups and Democrats" that were on the wrong side of things. Individuals and groups from all sides are coming out in favor of Net Neutrality, and it's unfortunate. Just goes to show that regardless of political affiliation, most folks can still be suckered by a bad idea.

Nicely put. I too worry about the way in which Google is getting a free pass on this issue and so many are willing to jump on the net neutrality bandwagon.

If net neutrality laws were passed, the problems would stem from the idea of keeping all services the same price and availability like you have mentioned. Instead of getting those better services, we would be stuck with the same level of services we have now and the internet would stagnate, something it has not done since its existence.
